Hey folks, Harry here. Ya know, sometimes a story comes across my desk that just makes me giggle like a wee child... this is one of them. First off, you have the concept that we're all going to be getting something new from them rascals at BONK PICTURES (Rob Letterman, Brian Brenton, Anders Beer and Brian Drucker + all of their artists and technicians) are up to something new. You see, their first short film, which debuted at SUNDANCE at the beginning of this year, and has been online at MediaTrip.Com for quite some time now... well... They made something that was all at once spectacular, breathtaking and very frickin' funny and it was called LOS GRINGOS. Well, according to the following scooper, their latest project is for Nickelodeon's Film division and is a feature CG animated film starring MIGHTY MOUSE... and will find him pitted against evil CATS!!! Evil CATS!!! YES!!! As all the greatest Mighty Mouse cartoons were scheduled around EVIL CATS! And as for MIGHTY MOUSE... well I sincerely believe he could beat Superman in a fight... Sincerely. Heheheh... I've pulled up some various Mighty Mouse images... as well as a link to where you can see BONK PICTURES' first effort.. LOS GRINGOS. Now imagine if they bring Mighty Mouse to life as a hardcore action operatic hero of yore. Or perhaps this is just a tv show, though, I can't imagine they can keep this level of quality CG animation for a weekly series. Who knows? Well... Here ya go...

I was recently at Nickelodeon for a Job interview as a layout artist. On what project I will not say so as to protect my identity from Nick employee's. First off I have to say Nickelodeon is the worst production hole in the world. They have so many retarded execs castrating artists there its painful to visit.
However!!! I saw some production art from their Mighty Mouse all CG
project. WHOLLY SHIT!!!! Its is freaking GREAT! Its being developed
by the guys who did Los Gringos I was told and looks truly
fantastic! I saw character designs for the bad guy cats and Mighty
plus Mighty's love interest. Totally breathtaking stuff. And the
environments were outrageous! I have no idea how far they are along
in production but my guess is they are VERY early in.
If they can get that stuff onto the screen the way its looking now
they will reinvent animated film.
They are also doing a TV show called Zim which looks top notch. Its the guy who created that comic Squee. Looks like its going to give Futurama a run for its money.
