CORRECTION: Arnold Notes: DOC SAVAGE & T3

Hey folks, Harry here with a report from... ABKing about.. nope... not Stallone... yup, that's right... AHNULDT!!! Let it be known from the highest bell tower in the land... there is a finished draft in existence for DOC SAVAGE!!! That script... I want in a really bad way. I'm a HUGE Doc Savage fan. In fact... in the far corner of my room... right above my Raiders of the Lost Ark poster is my Ron Ely personality poster from the George Pal DOC SAVAGE film.... which, while misguided and clumsy... I saw it as a kid and felt it had TONS of charm. Now... here's AB...

Harry,

Arnold made comments to the LA Times and he talked about why THE 6TH DAY is rated PG-13. The LA Times also had this to say about DOC SAVAGE and T3:

Arnold, who is currently at work on Collateral Damage, will be moving over to Terminator 3 in March. He's also got the Doc Savage project on his plate. As far as the latter project is concerned, Arnold told the Times that the script by David Leslie Johnson, Frank Darabont and Chuck Russell is a lot like Raiders of the Lost Ark. Time will tell.

This is great news. Maybe we will see T3 and Doc Savage in 2002.

ABking

Hey folks, Harry here.. the above is... of course what you read earlier... well, it turns out that AB KING did not correctly attribute from whence his information came. Let it be known that it came from LA TIMES, but then by way of CINESCAPE and the capable hands of Frank Kurtz... who wrote below...

Harry,

Though the story about Arnold Schwarzengger originally appeared in the LA Times, which I cited in my story, the following paragraph, sent to you by AB King was written by me:

"Arnold, who is currently at work on Collateral Damage, will be moving over to Terminator 3 in March. He's also got the Doc Savage project on his plate. As far as the latter project is concerned, Arnold told the Times that the script by David Leslie Johnson, Frank Darabont and Chuck Russell is a lot like Raiders of the Lost Ark. Time will tell."

Address it as you see fit.

Thanks,

Frank Kurtz
