From Deep Within The Halls of The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences comes the list... a bit longer and early!!

My fellow film fans have I scored a treat for you. When the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts And Sciences wakes up and does the bright and shiny early in the morning nominations this Tuesday the 15th of February... You... You lucky readers of AICN will already know the nominees... not only that... but as they name them... You can check it off of this list... which has the 8 nominees listed by category prior to cutting them down to the pre-determined number. Like down to just 5 nominees in most... but just 3 in others like Special Effects. Why print this list? Because... for the history of the Oscars we get to see on Feb 15 the nominees... BUT... we always wonder who didn't quite make the cut, who was 6th, 7th and 8th? What you will see here is the list that they narrow down from. 3 films or names from each category will be cut. And you will be left with the final nominees. I got the list from Doctor Evil's Evil Lite Son. And along with massive research with Robogeek, we were able to decode the statistics and make rhyme and reason out of it all. Now... Let's see if we can find out the OSCARS a day early. We are currently working on getting the final 5 in each category, as well as the Foreign Film Nominees... which didn't come in here. Enjoy the list...
