UNIVERSAL PICTURES TAKES ON "CRUSADE"?!

Yes, it actually may be true. Universal Pictures may indeed be considering the long-awaited Schwarzenegger epic Crusade, as a future movie project. A few days ago, a mid-level employee of Universal, and a casual acquaintance of The ARNOLD FAN that we will call Victory, emailed me with this earth-shattering information...

''I just wanted to let you know the buzz around here today. Arnold was at the office again, and now all of us are talking. You know me, I'm not one to gossip ;) but it looks like Arnold will possibly be signing a two picture deal with Universal next month, that will begin after Arnold fulfills his contract with Beacon after END OF DAYS. Of course, this will all depend on Arnold accepting the offered compensation before he signs the contract, but I feel the chances are very good.''

''The two year deal of course is going to include promotional activity. Arnold will be expected to attend next year's A.E.A. dinner, among others. I believe that Universal is trying to establish a loyal actor roster like Warner Bros has done so successfully these past many years.''

''No one has been able to identify to me what those two film projects could be, but I have heard Green's script'' (crusade) ''casually mentioned a few times.''

Okay, everyone relax. This story could be hogwash, or this could be Crusade's big break. We have tasted this movie before, and then watched it die in pre production, so lets not start celebrating yet. Lets wait and see if this story pans out. (Thanks to Victory.)
