Herc's Fun Facts About BATTLESTAR GALACTICA 3.X To Know and Share!!

I am – Hercules!!

SPOILERS HO!!

* Herc gives the third-season premiere somewhere between five and four and a half stars.

* The season picks up 134 days after the Cylons first arrived on New Caprica.

* The New Capricans are not freed from Cylon tyranny during the two-hour season premiere. Nor during the episode after that.

* At least one major character will never escape the Cylon’s occupation of New Caprica.

* About 2,000 humans managed to escape the Cylons along with Helo, Dualla and the Adama boys. At least one of the Adamas strongly advocates leaving the New Capricans behind and starting the human race over with the 2,000 escapees.

* There is no mention in the first five episodes of the Cylons allowing the humans to live only if they sacrifice some of their number to breeding experiments.

* In 3.1, both Tigh and Apollo have undergone shocking changes in appearance since we last saw them.

* Amanda Plummer turns up in 3.3, perfectly cast as a kamala-gulping soothsayer who has a chat with D'Anna.

* Starbuck’s blonde hair remains really long (at least until the end of 3.5).

* Sharon Agathon will not spend the entire season as a prisoner of the fleet.

* We see a representative of each of the seven models we’ve MET - a D’Anna (Lucy Lawless), a Cavil (Dean Stockwell), a Leoben (Callum Keith Rennie), a Doral (Matthew Bennett), a Simon (Rick Worthy), a Six (Tricia Helfer) and a Sharon (Grace Park) - getting to vote on extremely important decisions regarding the fate of Baltar and of the New Caprica humans generally. But the five models we’ve not met are apparently not given a vote!
