AICN EXCLUSIVE ONLINE PREMIERE!! The One Sheet(s) For HOLLYWOODLAND!!

Merrick here...

Here's a look at the one sheet...rather the three one-sheets...for Allen Coulter's forthcoming HOLLYWOODLAND. Needless to say, these images are character based.

Ben Affleck's George Reeves - TV's "Superman" - who died in 1959. Whether he took his own life...or someone took it from him...is uncertain.

Adrien Brody's Louis Simo, a detective hired by Reeves' fiance (Robin Tunney) to find the truth behind Reeves' death.

And Diane Lane's Toni Mannix, with whom Reeves had an affair. She's the wife of MGM executive Eddie Mannix (Bob Hoskins).

Cool images; love the style.

You know...Diane Lane is still really hot! I used to have a monster...crush...for her back in the day. And, is it just me, or does the name Eddie Mannix (a real person) sound like a character from WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT?

This is director Allen Coulter's first feature film -- he's graduating from low profile (sarcasm) TV fare like SEX AND THE CITY, SIX FEET UNDER, THE SOPRANOS, and ROME.

The trailer for this film is rather nice; you can take a look at it HERE. I'm really excited to see this film. It looks far more interesting than I expected it would when I first heard about it.

HOLLYWOODLAND...complete with what I'm sure will be an extremely surreal glimpse of Affleck in a Superman costume...hits on September 8.
