Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with news on the newest from NAPOLEON DYNAMITE himself, Jon Heder. He has a new movie he's producing (along with his brothers Doug and Dan) and, I'd assume, will be appearing in called MR. MACHINE. Universal has the project, written by David Gordon Green and Danny McBride, that focuses on 3 nerds who build a robot the ends up bent on taking over the world. They promise the flick is a throwback to the Amblin '80s family flicks (which would include GREMLINS and THE GOONIES). That is music to my ears. Thems is from my heyday as it were. Let's hope they can come close to matching those mother-suckin' classics. It's a small target with a teeny bullseye, but I'm hoping they hit it.
