Dracula 'prequel' called DRACULA YEAR ZERO? Um...

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I don't like to be the Negative Nancy in advance of something, but I'm not sure about this one. DRACULA YEAR ZERO needs to drop that title. I actually find the plot somewhat interesting... an interweaving of the Dracula legend with the real life basis for the character, Vlad the Imapler. Although, didn't we get that a little in Coppola's DRACULA flick?

The film is being produced by Michael De Luca from a spec script by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. Their script makes Drac a flawed man that turns into more of a vengeful hero instead of the monster Stoker made him out to be. Could be interesting. Could be DRACULA 2000. Your thoughts?
