Okay, so my headline’s not as catchy as Harry’s. Sue me. It’s early and I'm here to eat a little crow.
There’s a French teaser trailer for CASINO ROYALE that has snuck its way online, and I have to say... I’m impressed. I’ve been a pretty public crybaby about this one so far, but I like the trailer a lot.

Didn’t understand a word of it, but in a way, that makes me like it even more. It’s all about mood and atmosphere, and so far, I like what I see. It won’t be a faithful rendition of CASINO ROYALE, but that’s never going to happen with these producers, so the next best scenario is a film that successfully reboots this series and makes them fresh again, and this trailer suggests that is exactly what they’ve done. Cool news, indeed.
