Fantasy tale THE WATERHORSE gets a Cap'n in Morrissey!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. This kid's fantasy tale called THE WATERHORSE is shooting in New Zealand this summer. Our own Latauro has been on this flick like New Zealanders on sheep or beer-smelling vomit on Aussies. He scooped the casting of Emily Watson and Alex Etel (MILLIONS) and recently claimed Billy Boyd has landed a role (considering it's centered around a mysterious sea creature of Scottish legend, I'd say that's more than a possibility).

Boyd or no Boyd, the trades have announced BASIC INSTINCT 2's David Morrissey as being cast as Captain Hamilton of the Royal British Army.

I'm going to be spending 2 months in New Zealand starting at the end of May, so who knows? I may be able to get a glimpse at this project all up close and personal like. It's got a great cast and director Jay Russell did a good job with MY DOG SKIP. At least I liked it.
