Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter are busy boys. They seem to set up a new property every few weeks, with an emphasis on games and comics and fanboy fodder of every stripe, like HITMAN with Vin Diesel or SPY HUNTER with The Rock. Today, they’ve announced that they’re doing HACK/SLASH, based on the comic book created by Tim Seeley & Stefano Caselli for Devil’s Due. Todd Lincoln’s going to direct the film, and he’s writing it with Martin Schenk.
Some of you might remember Todd Lincoln was the guy they announced as the director of a new remake of THE FLY, and he talked a bit at that point about how one big point in his remake was going to be that you would actually see the Fly fly. Dunno what that’s got to do with anything, but there you go. Here’s VARIETY’s original break on the story:

Cassie Hack is the main character in the book, the archetypical smart strong resourceful young female lead who travels around the country, killing serial killers and murderous psycho maniacs.
