Hey folks, Harry here... Well the Oscars were announced not too long ago and due to an annoying early morning call, I just happened to wake up in time to have this not be too late. My fave nominee is Best Actor nominee - Terrence Howard for HUSTLE & FLOW... He's the longest shot in the history of the Oscars for a win, but I'm just glad he's nominated. I'm also quite fond of William Hurt's turn in A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE being nominated. Shows somebody was paying attention! I LOVE the animated film category this year - I would love any of those three to win. That HUSTLE & FLOW's "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp" got nominated for best song... might be my fave song nomination since Isaac Hayes' Shaft... I just hope it wins. It's been a long time since a nominee for Best Song actually had my attention. The most stunning snub... that STAR WARS: REVENGE OF THE SITH got fucked royally out of its nomination for Best Visual Effects. Fuck the Jesus Lion! And the worst nomination... CRASH for best film. Unlike many, I don't hate the film, it's merely a good movie, not nearly worth the field it finds itself in.
