Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a bit of rumoriffic fun concerning the new Bond flick, CASINO ROYALE. The internet has been abuzz with the rumor of Rose Byrne being in talks to play Bond hottie, Vesper Lynd. I kinda discounted that since the rumor came from a British tabloid, who are known the world-over for being the most accurate in their reporting, right?
Then we got word from one of our spies who claims to have the skinny on the project, including Seal's supposed involvement (or lack thereof) and the villains of the film. He/she also stands behind the recent Rose Byrne talk, saying we'll have an official announcement on it this Friday. I would take the below with a grain of salt, but it's interesting nonetheless, no?

I know - without a doubt, 100% sure, honest-to God - that actress Rose Byrne (WICKER PARK) got the Vesper Lynd role in CASINO ROYALE. Eon's making an official announcement on Friday.
If you're interested: Seal isn't playing the role of henchman Solari anymore either ... it's been grabbed by a French actor named Seydina Baldi; Italian actress Caterina Murino has locked the role of Solonge, Demetrius's girlfriend; and, speaking of Demetrius, the "true" villain of CR (no longer Le Chiffre) is going to be played by Simon Abkarian.
