Capone represents the Chicago family with the Windy City's Critics' top picks!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with our main man from Chicago-land, Capone, who has to do his pat for the "family" out there and give you folks a look at the Chicago Critics picks. All I gots to say is way to go Cronenberg and Mickey!

Hey, everyone. Capone in Chicago here. I'm sure by now you are sick to death of every group connected to the movie industry, and every film critic or group of film critics telling you what the best films of 2005 supposedly are. But I must commend my fellow Chicago-area film critics. Although I'm not thrilled that apparently most of them towed the same line as Roger Ebert on their Best Picture choice, I was excited to see many different names our list of winners. I think the one I'm most happy with is the Best Supporting Actor award going to Mickey Rourke for SIN CITY. And why the hell not? The guy did probably the best work of his career in SIN CITY, and this recognition is well-deserved.

Anyway, check out what the 61-member Chicago Film Critics Association determined were the best moments last year. And to see the complete list of nominees, got to www.chicagofilmcritics.org.
