Madchen Amick, who played diner waitress Shelley, has been recurring on “Gilmore” for a while now as Rory’s hot stepmom. Then a blonde Sherilyn Fenn, who played rich nympho Audrey Horne, was going to be a surrogate mother on Sherman-Palladino’s aborted WB spinoff about Luke Danes’ nephew Jess Mariano. Now Fenn is back as a brunette to play Anna Nardini, mother of April Nardini, Luke’s adorable and illegitimate nerd spawn.
Meanwhile, Rory restarts her Yale career, and we discover Honor Huntzberger’s Thanksgiving news may not have been the last word on Rory’s status with Logan.
