Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a little bit of news for all you crying out for Beverly Cleary's RAMONA kids books to be adapted for the silver screen. I saw the girls reading this all through elementary school while I had my own nose buried in the latest Where's Waldo? (Now how long before we get THAT movie?). I'm sure there are one or two people out there who will care, so here's the link to Variety's story about Fox 2000 getting approved by Beverly Cleary to handle a film version of her famous character.
