Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, apparently horrified and threatened by Fox’s insanely low-price pre-hi-def packaging on the series set for Buffy the Vampire Slayer
and the season sets for The X-Files, has usurped this month’s worldwide insanely-cheap home-entertainment crown by letting some of its series-sets go for less than $20 per season.
Less than $20 per season???? Mind you, this all kinda feels very temporary. But for the moment, you can pick up shows like “The West Wing” (the genius seasons) and “Friends” for less than $1 an episode. Here are the season-sets that are available for $19.97 each – at least if you … act quickly:
