Network sources confirm that, contrary to what TV Guide continues to tell us, Jolene Blalock will NOT appear in tonight’s “Lost.” Blalock is in fact set for an upcoming Sawyer-centric flashback, likely just before midseason. The flashbacks in 2.2 are all about Sawyer’s raft-mate Michael.

My very poorly considered rationalization? A Haiku, like “Lost” itself, represents a poetry of numbers. Every Haiku utilizes the division of 17 syllables into three groups of 5, 7, and 5 syllables. An example:

It rained. It poured. Surf was up on Waikiki Beach. But hey, rain on an event is supposed to be a blessing from the Hawaiian gods.
I managed to get good photos even though the stars had their backs to me most of the time. I was relegated to the VIP section after organizers decided the press list was too long. But hey, we all got equally rained on...
