Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. It seems that IGN has gotten ahold of a rumor that noneother than Edgar Wright, the mad little hatter behind SPACED and SHAUN OF THE DEAD, is the front-runner to direct ANT-MAN for Marvel. Of course, he'd be making the film a comedy, not taking it seriously, but how seriously can you take a film centered on ANT-MAN?
Moriarty claimed to know something about this project so I tried to get info out of him and he just giggled and made that "this little" hand gesture with his thumb and forefinger close together. I dug into a few other places and found that it does seem to be accurate that Wright is a fan of ANT-MAN as a character and that he actually wrote a treatment for his ANT-MAN film before directing SHAUN OF THE DEAD. So, IGN probably has the right bead on this one. Good on 'em!
