Ahoy, squirts! Quint here... I've been in a bit of a Harry Potter haze these last couple of days having just finished HALF-BLOOD PRINCE... I decided I'd dust off the DVDs for SORCERER'S STONE, CHAMBER OF SECRETS and THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN and give them a go after finishing the new book (which is great, by the way... I really believe Rowling wrote her EMPIRE STRIKES BACK). So, the timing is great to see these below pics... I believe they were originally in Entertainment Weekly, but the WB have released good quality versions of them onto the world wide web for all our enjoyment.
After seeing the Comic-Con footage I'm ten times more optimistic that Newell is going to pull this flick off. If my optimism is multiplied by 10, my anticipation for GOBLET OF FIRE is probably multiplied by 100. If you know the book, you'll really get a jolt from one or two of the pics below. If you don't, then let's just say that if Newell did his job then that graveyard pic will be from a scene that should be one of the best of the series so far adapted to screen.
Also, the scooper below says to expect a new trailer for GOBLET OF FIRE... I really hope they structure it like the Comic-Con trailer as that trailer, in about 3 minutes, beautifully outlined the Tri-Wizard Tournament without giving away too much... Plus I want to see more Mad-Eye Moody! Anyway, enjoy the below pics!
