Hey folks, Harry here... A while back I reviewed the film HUSTLE & FLOW (Click Here To Read That Review and when I said I was a fan of that film, I wasn't kidding. I contacted the filmmakers and invited them down for a proper Original Alamo Drafthouse Event! Now - What we have planned is an event tailored for this remarkable Award Winning (SUNDANCE) film by Craig Brewer. Now Craig was dying to come down, but he's so busy with BLACK SNAKE MOAN - that he really can't afford to get away right now. So - instead we've got John Singleton, who not only produced the film, but apparently mortgaged his house to finance Brewer's fantastic film. Word has it that not only will Singleton be coming to town, but he'll be bringing a scene from his latest film 4 BROTHERS. In addition - there will be a freestyle Rap Contest before the film and the winner of this contest will win $250.00 and their Demo will be given to a Paramount Music Executive - and they'll be seen by Singleton!
