Hey folks, Harry here. I just posted up a notice about a free screening for families of all shapes and sizes for HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE... Well this is a different type of screening, a benefit screening to help raise money for Thoughtful House of THE ADVENTURES OF SHARKBOY & LAVAGIRL.

First, what is Thoughtful House? It's a non-profit organization that fights for the recovery of children with developmental disorders like autism, PDD, Asperger's Syndrome, ADD, ADHD and NLD. How do they fight? Through medical care, education and research. The group is made up of cutting edge scientists and physicians. As for the premiere, this is an Austin Film Society - Troublemaker Studios Spectacular! For one, this won't be the red & blue 3D that most people will have to that check this film out. No - here at the Austin Premiere, we and perhaps you, will get a chance to see the film in IMAX Polarized 3-D! Which makes for a spectacular 3D experience. The premiere will be made up of 3 separate screenings of the film - with Q&As afterwards with Rodriguez and stars... as well as the various stars that'll be in the audience. Not only that... but there's an all day Carnival tied to the event just for all us attending! How cool's that? Pretty fun.

So hob nob, see a film that is authentically spawned from the imaginations of children and given form by Rodriguez... whose next 2 films are decidedly non-kid friendly! Plus you'll be doing major good deeds on top of it all... helping to fight developmental disorders and laughing and cheering with the kids in the audience, eating tons of Carnie food free, rides and just a damn fun time!
