“24” and “Battlestar Galactica,” two shows about government operatives trying to make the right decisions under extremely difficult circumstances, have emerged as the two best series on television this season. So, starting today, they both get “automatic talkback status” until one hits a bad patch I don't see coming.
So, just to fill space, here’s the “24 Day Four” drinking game. Forget about that idiotic “damn it” count; you’ll never get a decent buzz waiting for Jack Bauer to mutter extraneous dialog. Instead, take a half-shot of Arraki every time Shohreh Aghdashloo moans “Behroooooooooooz!” Make certain these are only half-shots, otherwise you’ll be dead of alcohol poisoning before the third commercial break.
I can’t believe somebody wised up and put a show as good as “24” on Mondays. Mondays spent years as the worst weekdays for network primetime. Now we’ve got Jack Bauer and Allison DuBois. And the Supernanny going on about youngsters who have been very naughty indeed.
