Renny Harlin does FULL MOON FEVER a flick about... space werewolves'''

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with an interesting bit of info on the next step for Renny Harlin. According to Variety Harlin is attached to direct a big screen adaptation of an as yet unreleased Graphic Novel called Full Moon Fever. The synopsis is "A group of blue-collar workers is sent to repair the deserted first lunar base on the dark side of the moon; they soon discover they're not alone as they fall prey to a pack of ravenous werewolves."

Usually space-based horror movies don't work, with some rather notable exceptions (ALIEN being the first to come to mind) and this one could be extremely cheesy if not handled right. Harlin's a mixed bag for me. Most people out and out hate him (and after making shit like DRIVEN, I can understand... damn that movie was like drinking Roseanne's douche-water. Needless to say, not good and possibly hazardous to your health), but I like CLIFFHANGER, DEEP BLUE SEA and DIE HARD 2: DIE HARDER. I don't LOVE any of those movie or think they're particularly great movies, but I like 'em.

This movie doesn't have a studio with it yet and Harlin is attached to a couple other movies as well, so who knows what'll happen with this flick? I'm interested in seeing this graphic novel. If the book is able to take a cheesy logline and make it really creepy and cool, then this movie could be something to look forward to. What do you folks think?
