I've been a faithful visitor for the past two years, but I think this may be the first and only time I have something to offer you.
I work with someone who works at ILM (convoluted, I know), and this ILM person has seen the rough cut of the Episode One. He/she's dutifully complying with all the non-disclosure agreements, but he/she HAS given his/her impressions of the film.
His/her overall feeling about the film is that it is a lot like Willow, in that it takes place mostly on the ground, with not as many space scenes as one would expect, or want. Ewan MacGregor gives a fantastic performance, and Jake Lloyd is terrible. (Apparently the lad thinks he's Mr. Wonderful, and seems to perform his scenes with that impression of himself.)
However, this source says that the movie is FANTASTIC (with NO blurry footage) and will blow everyone away. And that the Jedi are really cool.
I know I don't have a lick of credibility, but this is the info as I heard it.
