Even when Roger Avary isn’t working on a movie, his personal blog is a great read. Right now, though, he’s living in Paris and working on the script for SILENT HILL, which Christophe (THE BROTHERHOOD OF THE WOLF) Gans is going to direct. If that doesn’t excite you, then I suggest checking your pulse. You may already be dead.
Thankfully, Roger’s been talking a bit about the process when he hasn’t been wrestling with computer problems or hosting cool-ass film festivals.

I’m rooting for this one to be the film that totally and utterly transcends the video-game-to-movie genre because of the talent involved. I hope this is scary as shit and features some action scenes that scorch the eyes. I have faith in Gans to deliver the goods. More than anything, though, I just want to know what Mark Dacascos will be playing. BECAUSE HE MUST!!
