Toronto: A brief look at SAW!

Hey folks, Harry here - Since we first started hearing about SAW in advance of the Sundance Film Festival, since Quint reported in on the film from AFM... all along we've heard that SAW is an incredible genre film. The basic word is that this is an intense go for the balls HORROR film. Personally - this is one of those films I can't wait to see here in town! Here ya go...

I don't know if this will make it on to the site but I will give it a shot. If this does get posted could you please use the name "saw freak".

James Wan is really short in real life. I expected some geekish 30 something guy standing up there , but this guy looked like he still went to highschool.

SAW, what can I say besides the fact this movie was fucking awesome. This movie rocked from the beginning to the end. I admit there are some really cheesy parts with a tad of over-acting from Dr. Gordon. I can't fail to mention the cheesy moments between the two individuals chained up to a wall, and the puppet scenes that had the audience laughing at some points. Despite these minor details the movie is still very well done, and had many people on the edge of their seats. This movie attacks you from all different sides, and never gives you a chance to take a break. Just when you think you got the killer figured out, your smacked around and beaten to a pulp only to emerge and experience the same thing over and over again.

Q&A was quite interesting, with only a few interesting questions, the rest seemed kinda of dull. Despite this, James Wan managed to make it interesting. When asked if intention for some of the scenes in the movie were to make people laugh, they said no, but at the same time laughed about along with the audience.
