Ahoy, squirts! Quint here from the beautiful country of New Zealand. I just took a bit of a break from updating to consume one of God's gifts to men... The Almond Magnum ice cream bar, not found anywhere in the States. Most chocolate stuff here is pretty terrible for someone who was pampered with Hersey's magnificent milk chocolate... they only seem to have Cadburry chocolate in this country, which was the cheap, nasty tasting Easter candy I remember from childhood... Be that as it may, this Magnum concoction is a different story, the exception to New Zealand's chocolate rule... and it's certainly not going to help my already robust figure.
But enough about chocolate! You want to hear a bit about this wild rumor. I'd kill to see Nicole Kidman and Beat Kitano face off against each other, especially in a Wong Kar Wai directed picture set in '30s Shanghai. Let's hope this pans out, but take this with a bit of salt until we get an official confirmation!

I had a brief chat yesterday with a french producer who just had a phone call, he was so enthusiastic about , that he couldn't help himself not to talk : he is very close to sign the next Wong Kar Wai film, with Nicole Kidman as the main female part for sure ! Meanwhile Takeshi Kitano has been approached to play the "bad guy". The guy hadn't revealed the story except that it will be set in 1930's Shanghai...
