Quint's got your first look at the ZATHURA Game Board!!! Wanna play'
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here... I've been lost in... well, another world you could say for the last day or so, but just as I was about to hit the sack I got another piece of cool artwork from the upcoming Jon Favreau directed adventure film ZATHURA, sent to me by the elusive agent known as THE INTERN. You may remember that cool little bit of pre-production art this awesome spy sent me a month or so ago (if not, CLICK IT HERE!!!). I love this spy! He/she is like a distant reflection. There, but not there... one face in a couple hundred. Like DARKMAN (without the technology or fucked up face), he/she wanders unnoticed and snaps up info for you folks. This time THE INTERN got a hold of the design of the actual Game Board that sets this adventure off, plus some words about who will be bringing the creatures to life... Here is the pic and a quick word from THE INTERN!
Hi Quint,
I thought you might be interested in another image I
was able to get my paws on from Zathura. This is the
50's style pressed tin game board that is responsible
for throwing the house into space...All hell broke
loose around here when I sent you the last one and
production was calling for someone's head...I think
they may know it's me so it's getting harder to get
images but I'll keep trying...Tim Robbins was here
yesterday hanging out with Jon Favreau...He was
showing him around the set. Stan winston is designing
the creatures on this movie so I'll try to get one of
those pictures for you next.
The Intern

Pretty nifty if ya' ask me. I'm really curious what exactly Favreau has up his sleeve with this one. I hope Stan Winston is in his JURASSIC PARK or TERMINATOR moods rather than a TIME MACHINE one. Anyway, what do you folks think?
