AICN Exclusive!!! First art from Favreau's ZATHURA! Look at the cool spaceships!!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a super duper exclusive first look at Jon Favreau's follow-up to ELF, a kid's adventure film called ZATHURA, based on the popular kid's book Chris Van Allsburg. I'm not too familiar with the book, but the story revolves around a pair of young brothers as their house suddenly decides to hurdle through space and the adventures that presents. It has been reported that Tim Robbins plays the kid's father, but nothing else has hit the net about this project until now.

Now, for those unconvinced that a film like that is for them, I present to you a piece of production art that should make any self-respecting geek's heart beat a little faster (click on the picture for a bigger one):

I love the spaceships, I love the drama of that piece of art. And I also love that it could almost double for a piece of pre-production art for BAD TASTE 2 (Go Derek!!!). Hehe. Anyway, this is the first time you've seen anything from ZATHURA, so I must thank my source on this... He/she/it wanted to be dubbed NAMELESS INTERN, so thanks Nameless Intern and keep up the great spy work!

N.I. has promised other secrets from this film and maybe some other Sony stuff in the near future, so keep your eye on the site, squirts. You never know what could pop up!!!

-Quint
