Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with the damned coolest fucking trailer that I've seen in a very, very long time. I love me my Miike, but this dude is so prolific I feel like I'm swimming up stream trying to keep up. Now he's got one that not only tops the list of his films I'm behind on, but my overall anticipated flicks as well. This trailer has everying! Split bodies, time-jumping samurais, glowing vaginas, bullet-riddled zombies with swords, Takeshi Kitano, snakes, Jesus imagry and what appear to be vampires with knives. Miike's the best genre shifting filmmaker out there in that he's a master in every genre he takes on. Musicals (HAPPINESS OF THE KATAKURIS), Horror (ONE MISSED CALL, AUDITION), Yakuza (Damn near every other film he's made!)... This one seems to be a huge mixture of all the genres and even has a slight KILL BILL feel. Check out the trailer below! You'll be glad you did!!!
