Some interesting info came to me and it is VERY reliable.
- First. They will be shooting in Amsterdam for four weeks (May) in the city
centre and all dutch film companies who are involved in the project are on
the highest security alert: code freakin' red! It's as if your briljant
president is comming over for an... inspiring smoke.
- Second. In the script they wanted to steal the 'Nightwatch' by Rembrandt. Because of logistical problems (museum is being renovated, wa' ever). So now they have changed the script. They are going to steal the FIRST 'stock share' in history, from the time when the Dutch ruled the waves. In other words it's an old piece of paper... It's worth a lot!?
- Third. There is a coffeeshop in Amsterdam that is the favorite of Brat Pitt, Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney. It is called 'De Dampkring' (multiple winner of the cannabis cup!). In the script the cast is visiting the coffeshop to smoke dope... Dope! I hope you can handle that in the uptight - oh my god Janet showed her breast! - United States of the World...
But let's not get into politics here!
Well for the time being thats all I have to tell ya.
Oh, one thing. Paul Verhoeven is making a film in the Netherlands again. It is called 'Zwartboek' (in english 'Blackbook') It is a WWII flick about the resistance.
