The Strong Box!! STAR TREK!! ED!! L WORD!! ANGEL!!

I am – Hercules!!

BURNING BERMAN? A “scooper” quoted by Cinescape.com speculates that Paramount Television Productions president Garry Hart may be contemplating the replacement of longtime “Star Trek” executive producer Rick Berman if ratings for “Enterprise” disappoint during the just-arrived February sweeps. The same source reportedly broke the news of the the series’ timeslot change. (“Enterprise” is taking over the 9 p.m. Wednesday daypart that belonged to the now-cancelled “Jake 2.0.”) Find the entire Cinescape story here.

ED DEAD? Tonight brings us the first half of NBC’s early two-hour finale of “Ed” – allegedly featuring the wedding of the title character and the young woman he’s been pursuing for four seasons – but we probably won’t learn till May whether this is the season or series finale. (Never say never. Last spring USA Today was so certain “Ed” would not get a fourth season that the Worldwide Pants production didn’t even make it into the paper’s “on the bubble” category; America’s daily simply declared the series “cancelled (or almost).”)

MORE MANDYISH NAKED LESBIANISM!! Variety reports Friday morning that “The L Word” has just received a greenlight for its second season, the fastest renewal in Showtime history!

RETURN OF THE BIG SCOOBY DEATH! For those who missed all the talkback in this week’s “Angel” talkback, it looks like more than one key member of the Buffiverse will perish over the next four episodes. Invisotext on! Not only is Winifred Burkle said to die in 5.15, but now it looks as if we’ll learn that Cordelia Chase will not live beyond 5.12, next week’s 100th episode.

I am – Hercules!!
