Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...

I’ve written quite a bit about ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY already, and I’m dying to see the movie. As much as I enjoyed parts of ELF, it still felt like it had a forced resolution that was standard Hollywood plot-heavy business as usual. I love the ANCHORMAN script, and my visit to the set convinced me that this one’s going to be the movie where Will Ferrell finally asserts his own personality and does something special. Dreamworks seems pretty confident in the film, too, scheduling it for a July release, and they’ve decided to give us an early peek at the movie right now, no doubt because of how hot Will is at the moment.

Good stuff, but very rough. I’m curious to see what the first real trailer looks like, and I’m doubly curious to see when it’ll hit theaters.
