All Sorts Of DR. WHO Rumors A-Flyin

Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...

I’m not a big DR. WHO fan. I don’t dislike the show. It’s just that I never really lived anywhere that it aired in any sort of regular fashion, and by the time I caught up with a few episodes out of continuity, it didn’t really make much sense to me.

I do know enough to know that if I’m ever chased by a Dalek, I should find some stairs. Beyond that, I’m going to leave the news up to the real fans today...

Hey there,

I don't know if somebody's already sent you this info, but listening to the radio this morning I heard that our lovely BBC has just commissioned six new episodes of 'Dr Who'.

They are to be written by Russell T. Davies (who wrote the UK version of'Queer As Folk'), and current men in the casting line are Paul McGann (who of course played the Dr last time), Richard E. Grant (would be a great return-to-form for him, I think), and unfortunately, Alan Davies (weird comedien).

No sign so far of Giles 'Anthony Head' name in the mix - but I'm still hoping.

If you use this, just call me Sweet Pea x

Wait... does this mean that both Withnail and “I” are in line to play the Doctor? Or is there a chance they’ll both show up in these new episodes as different characters? Because anything that reunites McGann and Grant is automatically the greatest fucking thing ever made. Ever.

Here’s what someone else had to say, complete with a link:

Harry or Moriarty,

I'm betting that word of this may have reached your ears already, but maybe not.

Here is a link to the news article concerning the TV return of Doctor Who. I'll just say that I wouldn't send this if I were uncertain of its validity. Even more, the place that posted it would definitely not post news of this magnitude in a confident manner if they weren't believers. (We DW fans are extremely acquainted with rumors and red herrings!)

True dat on the rumors front when it comes to DR. WHO. For now, take all of this with a grain of salt, but I sure hope it happens for the fans who have kept hope alive all this time...

"Moriarty" out.
