Ted on AFTERMATH: UNANSWERED QUESTIONS FROM 9-11!!!

Hey folks, Harry here... As the 2nd Anniversary of 9-11 approaches there seems to be a great many documentaries about what really happened that day. Was there a cover-up? Did the U.S. Government know it was going to happen? Did the Israelis know it was going to happen? Was it allowed to happen? Who helped? Is George Bush Jr. really Osama Bin Laden? As you can imagine, the documentaries go all over the place. The following is a review of one of those documetaries. On 9-11 at the Alamo Drafthouse here in in Downtown Austin, they're showing TRUTH AND LIES ABOUT 9-11, meanwhile the Alamo Drafthouse in Houston is playing 9-11: THE ROAD TO TYRANNY as well as THX 1138 that night... hehehe... Here ya go...

Harry,

I've got a review of a documentary that is seeing release shortly. It?s one of those "the best movie nobody saw" situations, which, as I'm sure you know, is all too common with docs. Enjoy.

Islamic terrorists simultaneously hijacked 4 commercial airliners, a first in aviation history. We all know the story. Or do we? On September 12th 1970, 4 airliners were hijacked, taken to an airfield in Jordan and blown up. Didn't hear that one? If so, this documentary is exactly what you need.

"Aftermath: Unanswered Questions from 9-11", which has already been shown in Germany, Italy, Mexico and the UK (translated in four languages) and received favourable reviews from San Jose's Metro Magazine, Pop Matters and the Oakland Tribune, is receiving a wider release on 9,11 2003.

It's everything you wish the news was: slick music video styling, narration and score by Hip Hop legend Paris, and questions that put 'Bush at War' author, Bob Woodward, to shame. Ask yourself, did the major media ask, even once, "To what extent should airlines have been prepared for 9/11?" Or, "Why wasn't the US military able to intercept the hijacked planes?"

Using the same beat-driven style that, in the past, won the Guerrilla News Network a Sundance award, GNN does what MTV could never do - make the Music Video important again. The film asks 9 experts 11 questions about the nature of 9-11, pushing towards the unexplored, ignored elements.

Starting with Mary Schiavo (Aviation Disaster Attorney) on the FAA's past experience with hijacking, tracking fighter jet response with Nafeez Ahmed (author), analysing al-Qaeda funding with Michel Chossudovsky (author/Professor, University of Ottawa), and US Troop positioning with Peter Dale Scott (Professor Emeritus, UC Berkeley) - among others - the film serves as a primer to understanding 9-11 with both a compassionate and critical eye.

With a limited release in the US (New York, Oakland, Chicago, Alaska, Michigan, Oregon, Phoenix) and Canada (BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan) on and around 9-11, the DVD, which features over 90 minutes of extra material, will probably be most convenient for viewers.

You can preview the film (in both Quicktime and Windows Media) online at: Click Here!

This is a must see.
