Fresh ANGEL, GILMORE_GIRLS, WEST WING, SMALLVILLE, ENTERPRISE!!

I am – Hercules!!

ANGEL. In 5.2, we learn that Buffy is, at least momentarily, residing in Europe. In 5.3, Fred knows that the ghostly Spike is being sucked toward hell every time he unexpectedly vanishes, and vows to help him. There’s also some stuff about a hot girl, lycanthropy, and more rich bastards determined to profit from the misuse of the supernatural. Goblin hearts are referenced!

GILMORE GIRLS. In an early episode (4.2?) Rory moves into her Yale dorm and learns that Paris Gellar will be her suitemate. Paris arrives toting a “life coach” who really does seem to be helping. Lorelai and Luke help with some of the heavy lifting. The former wins over Rory’s new classmates by throwing a pizza bash. The latter finds himself dealing with many a lawyer as he tries to extricate himself from an impulsive marriage to Taylor Doosy’s hot lawyer. Lane’s boyfriend-bandmate heads off to California to star in “The O.C.” and “The Grind," kinda.

WEST WING. 5.3 will deal with a threat involving a “radiological dispersing device” and the search for a new vice president to replace John Hoynes. The administration wants to promote current secretary of state Lewis Berryhill, popular war hero, but they run into flack from the speaker of the House. Interesting thing: Walken (John Goodman) for some reason does not return to the role of House speaker once Bartlet is restored to the presidency. There’s a new speaker named Haffley. Don’t be surprised if, in the end, Leo McGarry ends up with the job after all. In other news for those who haven’t heard, smoking “X-Files” latecomer Annabeth Gish will be introduced in 5.1 as the president’s third and eldest daughter.

SMALLVILLE. Great shades of Elvis! Casting notices indicate that 3.5 is expected to introduce Perry White, but not as the editor of the Daily Planet. Perry, a contemporary of Eben and Sarah – er, Jonathan and Martha Kent, is in these prequelly days overseeing the local Smallville paper. And there’s no indication he’ll be moving on to Metropolis any time soon.

ENTERPRISE. T’Pol and Hoshi not stupendous enough for you to keep checking in on “Enterprise”? 3.2 is expected to introduce a member of Starfleet’s Military Assault Command Operations team named McKenzie, played by Zambia-spawned Julia Rose.

I am – Hercules!!
