Hey folks, Harry here... Mamoru Oshii could very well be one of the saviors of traditional animation... His blending of computer graphics into the 2d realm are completely unlike anything we see out of Dreamworks or Disney. His stories are also so much stronger than most of what we've seen from those two companies... but then, Mamoru Oshii is a genius and those two companies have strangled the neurons out of most of theirs... What follows is a clip from GHOST IN THE SHELL: INNOCENCE - his follow up film to his astonishingly wonderful GHOST IN THE SHELL. The way he plays with light and shadow here are just stunning - May he never cease working, he astounds me...
