WELL - that wasn't up long. OneRing has removed the file due to a request by New Line and the filmmakers. I can report that the file wasn't quite sound synched and had all manners of hisses and pops in the soundtrack... at least the version I saw. Is NEW LINE going to put a better version out? Don't know, but eventually we'll get a big fullscreen ROTK trailer, that's a real trailer... Till then, the file TheOneRing put up will float from person to person like a whisper in church... pssst...
Hey folks, Harry here... For a little over a week now I've been attempting to get this file up online for y'all. However, the dang .RAR file was playing havoc with me and driving me a bit insane. Now, I can breathe a sigh of relief as the file is TheOneRing.Net's problem and I don't have to deal with the server traffic, which my pathetic server would die 10 times over attempting to serve. Ok... now... What does TheOneRing got? It ain't the trailer. In contacting New Line about it today, the reaction is genuine confusion. They've never seen it before or something associated with the 10 minute preview of RETURN OF THE KING that's on the TWO TOWERS dvd this August. I don't know this for a fact, but it's my best guess given the footage. Have patience at OneRing... They're being hit by a Grog of traffic today, the server hosting the file is creaking - this link may be that straw...
