Hey folks, Harry here with more on HELLBOY - if it feels I'm talking a lot about HELLBOY, it's because I'm talking a lot about HELLBOY. With the internet press having just returned from their big ol junket to Prague and the HELLBOY set... PLUS - with that New York Licensing Show and the great spy work of Pitdoc... Well, I'm being assaulted with HELLBOY news, and I'm not gonna file a single damn complaint. Also - Some very interesting behind the scenes have been uncovered. You see, I'm about to link to a ton of interview by David Server of COUNTINGDOWN with some of the cast and crew of HELLBOY, and when he talked to FX genius Mike Elizalde, the guy that created the brand spanking new SPECTRAL MOTION make-up effects company that is handling all NON-Hellboy make-up on the film and mechanical effects... (Mike worked on BLADE II with Steve Johnson, MEN IN BLACK II with Rick Baker and A.I. with Stan Winston.) Well in his interview - he says he's seen a roughcut as has been assembled thus far, with still about a month of shooting to go. He doesn't go into it, but... THINK ABOUT THIS... REVOLUTION PICTURES has just announced that they are moving HELLBOY to Memorial Day Weekend 2004. I'd bet money, that the Execs at REVOLUTION were at that same screening, saw what they saw and said... Fuck it, let's spotlight this sucker, it's great! I betcha, I'm right.

Let's start off with Nazis in an old church shall we?

Seems that this Hellboy cat is a cautious kinda guy and uses his gun like Harrison Ford uses his "FINGER OF DOOM"

These low grade photos have a habit of making Hellboy look mythical in form dontcha think? Look how the shadows play and catch on him. The below shot is part of his... um, I'll call it his quasi-Edmund Rostand moments...

And here are Hellboy and Liz.... awwww, she's so lucky to be close with this guy... because ya gotta figure, if Hell comes to earth, its a good thing to be near this guy... and two... like me, Hellboy has a nice 16mm film collection. And I've got redhair... And I weigh like I got a granite hand of doom.... sigh...

Above is Hellboy and something, not friendly. Below, I believe is from the same scene, and I'd bet money he just said, "Aw Crap." He looks like he just said that.

Above is HELLBOY waving HI to the adoring masses... Actually, I haven't a clue what he's doing here. But below, he's standing outside the place that Liz is living, thinking about her.

Well speak of the gal, here she is in a couple of great shots, the first is her and Abe at the BPRD, the one following looks like it might be the lighting, pre CG, for Liz's particular gift....

These last two shots... Well, they represent the dynamic nature of HELLBOY. First you have Hellboy leaping through the fog/mist/smog in full motion, the last is a dynamic shot of Ron in his wonderful HELLBOY make-up and that "ripped" black shirt and his badass gun ready to miss whatever he's aiming at.
