CT is so-so on 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS

Hey folks, Harry here... CT's review isn't a real shocker... but this is the way it's been looking like from the trailers... Here ya go....

Hi Harry,

CT here first timer reviewer of any sorts from the UK had an oppertunity to see this a couple week back thought I would send my review to you if its any good.

Here's my review of the film **Spoilers Ahead**

The film is plain crap in my opinion there was no need for this sequel. Where as in the first film they attest concentrated on the cars a little with a plot this film has become a run of the mill action movie.

The opening sequence opens with the following: Paul Walker (Brain O'Connor) character is now like Vin Diesel, he's the guy everybody's afraid to race, he's moved to Miami where he's buddy Ludicris (the rapper) is organising a race, somebody drop's out 4 minutes before the race, so there's a racer short, so Ludicris calls in Brain who is no longer a cop since he let Vin's Dominic go.

Basically He turns up in a car that's letting of stem and amped to the works (Turbo boost etc.)he races and wins (The bridge is lifted so the racers have to jump across the bridge, Brain's car jump over the leading car on the bridge to win the race)

From there the film goes down the toilet with cops busting brain at the race (Using a electronic rocket launcher that attaches to the cars and knocks out the electrical system, making the car a dud)

He is given two choices he can either go to jail or be a driver and infiltrate Cole Hauser's (Carter Verone) Colombian drug lord and make a large money drop for him Eve Mendes (Moinca Clemente) is already undercover as his girlfriend and she will bring him in.

Of course he wont do it unless he has a partner of his choice surprise surprise Tyresse Gibson( Roman Pearce) the bad boy who hates authority who also blames Brain for him spending 3 years in jail, because he became a cop when they were childhood buddies.

After being successful in a test for Cole they are recruited for the final money drop in which our boys plan to not only double cross Cole but the cops also when it comes to the money.

In between the final drop they go clubbing (in the club scene Cole Hussers character UN-dresses a police officer and places a rat in a bucket on the officers stomach, so there's only one way the rat can dig to get out! ) Walker smooches with Eva, Tyreese shots at the cops and they race a couple of guys to win there cars (Vin Diesels type car from the end of the first film) so they can switch there cars at the end because they are being tracked by the cops and Tyresse and Walker display some male bonding.

For the final money drop they out run the cops and there helicopters by switching there cars (in a warehouse where a hundred cars all come out at once to confuse the cops, organised by Ludicris) and finally they manage to stop Cole Hauser's from escaping on his lavish Boat by displaying a stunt in which they drive there car of a cliff into the moving boat that Cole is in (in time to save Eve Mendes who's cover at this point has been blown)

In a summer where there's so many big films opening, I believe this film to be in the weaker section, simply for the reason where the original brought illegal car racing to the silver screen and something fresh this film becomes a run of the mil action film, something can be waited on for DVD rather then a cinematic experience, not a crap movie but not masterpiece either, perfect for friday night.

Paul Walker - Same as the first film, just the another Keanu for me.

Tyresse - Displayed some acting ability in Baby Boy, just plays the cliché black guy in this.

Eva Mendes - Looks Lovely as always

Ludicris - Shows more acting ability then DMX and Ja Rule Combined.

Roll on Return Of The King
