Then you have this report on bug brains latest creepings...

Hey Harry:

Long time reader (contributed once long ago).

I work for a company bordering madison square in New York. I walked out of my office to have lunch - and watch new yorkers begin their yearly ritual of shedding their office clothes and baking on a park bench until their skin resembles the consitency of a leather wallet- when I found myself staring at a giant (about 12 stories tall) crane right outside the door of my building. next to it was a truck with a bunch of self important interns armed with dangerous looking walkie-takies and clipboards, unloading equipment. I asked them what was being filmed and they said they where setting up for this sunday's shoot of Spider-man 2.

I started to walk away when I noticed another giant crane parked at the corner of 26th and broadway and some guys in a cherry picker stringing large cables between the two. perhaps it's for a floating camera or perhaps it's a rig for swinging some poor stuntman around.

Anyhow, the last time I saw them filming in the park was when they were shooting the outside of the flat-iron building, which passed for the daily Bugle in the first movie. Maybe this is more of the same, just much more elaborate. I'll swing by this weekend and see if I can score some shots.

If you use this, you can call me Santeno.
