That was how the original Poster for WHAT A GIRL WANTS looked... Well, now that flashing the Peace Sign means that you're an un-American Terrorist Iraqi Sympathizer... Well, Warner Brothers... that studio we all just love to death, has decided that they don't want the promotional image on this poster to possibly give anyone the wrong idea. You see, under no circumstances do they want anyone to think that WHAT A GIRL WANTS is peace. You see, when she was originally standing between two Buckingham Palace Guards flashing the peace sign, they meant for that to just be a flippant status symbol that meant nothing.

Obviously, Peace being a forbidden and verboten concept now, that no flag-loving teenage apple-pie girl should be thinking about at these times and thus needs to be clearly eradicated from the pop-lexicon of the day.

Now I've got a question. I thought, what EVERYONE wanted was peace. I thought that President Bush wanted peace, that's why he offered Saddam exactly 48 hours to get out of Dodge. It was to avoid military action. That's why he was delaying this military action right? It was for peace, wasn't it? And everyone wants the current war to be over as quickly as possible, because nobody WANTS war right? We want the Iraqis to surrender, for Saddam to either tell the world he's dead and gives up, or that he comes out from Underground waving a white flag and surrenders thus liberating all of his people and for not one single extra life to be taken than necessary... Right?

Because the only person that can bring about Peace is Saddam and that "regime" right, because America isn't in the peace business until the Iraqis give up or are Resting In Pieces... Right? Is that it?

Personally, I'm about 2 zillion times more offended now that Warner Brothers is so scared of possibly having something they made, be considered to spread the word of "Peace."

SO... What is Warner Bros. going to have Amanda Bynes do in the Print Ads?

Apparently, her right hand will be placed at her side, thus making no message that could ever possibly be interpreted in any way other than the possibility that perhaps WHAT A GIRL WANTS is two big strapping British Royal Guards of her very own? That's possible.

However, if it isn't too late, I have a proposal for Warner Bros. It is just a mock-up that I did, of another alternative that Amanda Bynes could flash the world. It'd stir quite a bit of talk... I mean I guarantee that Talk Radio, TV shows and folks everywhere would be stammering to buy the posters. It would also mean that perhaps the film had something on its mind. I don't pretend to be that good with Photoshop, so excuse the crudity of my work, but here's my proposal...
