Our First Glimpse Of DREAMCATCHER!!

Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.

This isn’t long enough to call a review. It’s more or less a reaction. Anyone else get a peek at this one who wants to send in a more comprehensive review? I’d love to hear what you think...

Hey Harry,

I had the pleasure of seeing Dreamcatcher last night. There is so much I want to say about this film, but practically anything I say would be a spoiler, and I don’t want to do that at all. The film is great, for me at least because I never read the book. If you have read the book, then the film will most likely not be as good since the surprises won’t be surprises. The trailer for Dreamcatcher is perfect because while watching it, you’re like “what the fuck?” and it really doesn’t make any sense. And the trailer looks kind of cheesy with that shot of that one guy (Damien Lewis, from Band of Brothers) where he is looking, and then suddenly turns and grins. Yeah, cheese. And then there is the whole hitchhiker thing, and maybe it is just me, but I didn’t have any idea what they were talking about. But those things make perfect sense in the film.

All I can say without spoiling anything is the film is about four guys who go camping, and mayhem ensues. That is all. Make sure that you don’t read any spoilers about the film before seeing it because that is the one thing that made it so great.

And in the film, there is one scene that is probably the most thrillingly scary scene in film. I am not sure where the line crosses from a thriller to a horror, but this probably a mix of the two.

I highly recommend seeing this film knowing nothing about it. The comedy is rather amusing while it’s there, the action and thrills are just great, and the acting is great for what it was.

Keep up the good work everyone,

Parlgamads.

Come on... someone has to have more to say about the “shit weasels.” I want to know! Speak up!!

"Moriarty" out.
