Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
Well, it’s happened to all of us, and this week, it happened to Harry. He ran an anonymous rumor from some douchebag who then started sending us story after story the next day, all of them rather unusual. We talked and decided to hold anything else he sent in until his original rumor either proved to be true or was disproven as false.
I rather quickly got several emphatic denials from inside M. Night Shyamalan’s agency saying that the story we ran about his supposed Ouija board movie was completely false, as was the source who originally sent the story.
This was confirmed when he sent in a follow-up letter in which he cackled about his “big hoax.”
As always, it’s a pleasure doing business with you, and we’re very glad you have free time on your hands. Perhaps you should consider advancing to the next logical step, hurting kittens and self-mutilation. Best of luck to you on that, and sorry to anyone who actually liked that weak, sad Ouija board idea.
I'd like to correct something. I've just enjoyed an extensive correspondence with the anonymous douchebag who sent the story in, who's obviously not quite so anonymous now. Let's assume that he came back to gloat in our Talk Backs for some reason and posted his e-mail address there, as is the case with every Talk Backer. Even if that were true, I would never want any reader to contact him, and if any of you thought that was the case, I'm shocked. Shocked and disappointed. He was only trying to help point out that rumors aren't always true. Especially the ones that are called "rumors." So leave him alone. Please. I'm tired of hearing him cry like his diaper is full.
