We’re less than a month from the start of the fall TV season? It’s true! New episodes of “The Drew Carey Show” and “Whose Line It Anyway?” explode onto the small screen Sept. 9. (The season really begins, of course, with the premieres of shows we’ll actually watch. “Enterprise,” “Twilight Zone” and “Bernie Mac” all launch in exactly one month, on Sept. 16. The following night brings us the premiere of “Survivor: Thailand.” Speaking of which:

Survivor 5.1

CBS revealed its contestants for “Survivor: Thailand.” Have a gander at all 16 here. The net is running promos for the reality skein, and those promos seem to hint that the contestants will be divided up along gender lines at some point.

Farscape Finished?

This from an AICN stalwart: “You didn't hear it from me, but in case you're interested... I've been told from a (very) highly placed source that FARSCAPE has been picked up for one more 13 episode season, and then will be over.” But “Farscape” has a 22-episode season, doesn’t it?

Gilmore Exes

Near the end of an upcoming “Gilmore Girls” installment titled “Haunted Leg,” Rory’s dad (last seen abandoning a reconciliation with Lorelei because his girlfriend, the Madchen Amick character, supposedly got all preggers) will turn up at Richard & Emily’s place with these words: “Lor, I have to talk to you.” We can also look forward in the season’s first handful of episodes to Rory dumping Dean for Luke’s bad-boy nephew.

This has been reported fricking everywhere, and we report it here to make people stop writing us about it: All 24 season-one episodes of “24” will be broadcast on FX on Sept. 1.

Better Stronger Faster

And finally: Flush from its success with “The Dead Zone,” the USA Network is developing a remake of “The Bionic Woman,” according to Friday morning’s Hollywood Reporter. Developing.
