CAT IN THE HAT news

Hey folks, Harry here... Seems that this needless film is moving forward. Whoopee... ahem cough cough. Joy... Hated the script for this one. Got it about 2 weeks ago, can't muster enough motivation to take a shit on it. I'll find my center, I'll go through the hundred and one reasons this doesn't need to happen... First of which was that Rick Baker passed on it. That kinda says volumes about the film, doesn't it?

Hey Harry,

This is actually the second time I've had a scoop for you, but somebody beat me to the first one. Anyways, thought you might like to know there was an article in the St. Petersburg Times yesterday stating that Mike Myers' film version of the Dr. Suess classic The Cat In the Hat was seriously thinking about filming in the small community of Longleaf in Pasco County, FL. The article also implied that the film's events would not be confined to the inside of the childrens' house, hence the location scouting. Just thought you might want to know--love the site, by the way.
