Austin Powers in Goldmember. Yes, I saw it. Yes, Ill see it again. If you saw AP1 - 5 times and AP2 7 times - you might see this one 10 times.
This is a perfect title for this next installment in the Austin Powers trilogy - because, for me, the character, GOLDMEMBER, is just about the greatest new comedic character to hit the big screen, or the small screen, for that matter since, well, I guess Austin Powers, himself. Im not sure if youÃll realize that it is Myers right away - because he is light years away from Dr. Evil, Austin, Fatso Bastard, and even SHREK.
And, then there was the babe. Beyonce Knowles is one to look out for - she hits all the marks for a Powers Babe - sensationally sexy, smitten by the charms of Austin, and aloof to all the weirdness that goes on around her - - She doesnÃt get enough play in this game, though.
Filmmakers - hear us bring her off the bench - she deserves more! Anyhow - isn't much more to say about this one, but get off your lazy summer butts to see this one - Ill be very surprised if you aren't repeating at least 10 lines from this one - and it wont just be the usual "shagadelics" or even "get in my belly" -
- The Dutch freak, Goldmember, has all the new zingers - but gets a best supporting award from Michael Caine as Austin's dad. That swingers is one of a kind -
