If Steven... the man that made JAWS and EMPIRE OF THE SUN and SCHINDLER'S LIST made WAR OF THE WORLDS right... My god... Finally we'd see Steven make the angry alien movie. To see him recreate pre-WWI society ripped asunder by the viscious monstrosities from the red planet known as Mars... That would be a dream. Just a blissful dream. PLEASE HAPPEN. I was at 4filmmakers.Com today and saw that they are reporting that Spielberg is attached to Direct the remake of War of the Worlds. They also state that Tom Cruise is on board to star in it with his production company producing it. Hope it pans out.
