Harry here... There's already one insect that has become extremely well known for its work on LORD OF THE RINGS, the Weta, well now a Cricket will come into play... Now technically it'll be a Cricket match.... a game I completely do not understand, but from what little I've seen on the telly, I do know that it gets huge crowds. As you can see, the folks on LOTR seem to be working to ensure they get that 14th nomination, the one for SOUND EFFECTS EDITTING. Pesky little bugger got away this time. Next time... oh yeah, they'll get that, and if they have Viggo stare off and talk to imaginary people well... maybe he'll get nominated. Ahem... Anyway, here ya go....

You may know this already but I saw in a local Wellington newspaper that they are going to be sound recording for the battles in The Two Towers and Return Of The King at the New Zealand Vs England one day cricket international in Wellington they said it will last about 20 minutes and the want to record yells,screams,stamping..etc sounds like fun
